24 Hours for the Lord 2018

Parishoners and Visitors are welcome to join the St Mary’s Cathedral Community to commemorate 24 Hours for the Lord on Friday 9th March (12pm – 11pm) and Saturday 10th March (8am-12pm) at the Irish Saints Chapel located at the eastern side of the Cathedral. After Hours access will be through the eastern door.
Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be taking place throughout the day and night with various groups from the St Mary’s Cathedral Community leading sessions of prayer and worship. The Sacrament of Confession will also be available for the duration of the event.
The Cathedral’s scheduled Masses will still be taking place at 1:10pm & 5:30pm on Friday; and 9am & 12pm on Saturday. Just before Mass begins, Benediction will take commence and the Blessed Sacrament will be placed into the Tabernacle. Once Mass has finished, Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will re-commence.
